I went river surfing with the Red Paddle Co Whip today. It is Mission Month Day 2. My challenge for today was to surf switch on the Whip. It was late afternoon and the South African winter sunset over the Vaal River in Parys was absolutely stunning.
I had a great time surfing and watching the Free State sunset. The wave was small as is the case in our area in winter (can’t wait for some big summer rainfall), but surfing is always great. Small waves are still fun and great for practicing.
